Self-monitoring of the System
ELSA fulfils all the functions of NoColl collision protection - and does so at a very high and safety-related level (self-monitored).
The system recognises a fault or failure in real time and immediately notifies the central user.
In addition, the optional ELSA WLAN displays provide visual feedback and can simultaneously connect flashing lights or gates thanks to their integrated switching output.
Networking 4.0
Up to 20 on-site NoColl matrix sensors can be connected serially via a standard LAN cable. This saves material and, above all, installation costs.
Each individual matrix ceiling sensor, centrally controlled by the ELSA, monitors a specific aisle section and communicates with the vehicles in the form of speed reductions, for example, deceleration when exiting an aisle or in the event of an encounter within the wide aisle.
Route Optimisation Increases Efficiency
With ELSA, heavily frequented zones, traffic routes and danger points can be recognised. This allows quick and easy identification of the optimum traffic routes and speeds up the material flow, which will be a real benefit for your logistics optimisation.
If the fastest route to the destination is blocked by a vehicle in storage, at the front of the rack rows the ELSA WLAN displays a "faster route" in good time by flashing blue so that the driver does not have to deal with waiting times.
The ELSA Web Service
The central task of the ELSA web service is data processing as well as status and event logging. It provides functions for displaying the individual sensors.
The customer's own infrastructure (LAN) is used for communication via TCP.
Optionally, the customer's own systems can be implemented up to the SAP interface for goods and storage location management.
ELSA fulfills all NoColl collision protection functions at a high safety level (self-monitored)
